The Plaza Group is one of Ireland’s leading independent motorway and primary route services group.

The Plaza Group was formed by the managing directors of Supermac’s, Pat and Úna McDonagh who have over 40 years’ experience in the sector offering world class food and retail services. Our core brands include the iconic Supermac’s, Papa John’s Pizza and the delicious SuperSubs outlets as well Mac’s Place Deli and our Baristas. 

The Barack Obama Plaza which opened on the M7 Motorway 2014, is now joined by The Galway Plaza Junction 16 on the M6, Tipperary Town Plaza, Mallow N20 Plaza and the Charlestown Service Station in Co Mayo as part of the destination motor services businesses developed on key national roads. Our newest additions to Plaza Group includes The Portlaoise Plaza, a one stop shop for all your needs when you are making the journey along the M7 and the N17 Tuam Plaza, a perfect place to stop and the Loughrea Service Station, the newest addition to the Plaza Group network.

We are the only quick service restaurant to use fresh, never frozen 100% Irish beef and chicken.

SuperSubs introduces a fresh way to eat with a range of subs, wraps, soups and salads, all made with only the finest of ingredients and artisan breads. The fresh soup is made daily and all meats, cheeses and vegetables are freshly prepared daily with each sub, wrap and salad on the menu carefully considered to give you a healthy and satisfying option for mealtime.

Papa John’s Pizza

Our Papa John’s Pizza range is renowned for its quality ingredients which makes it Ireland’s best tasting pizza. We offer freshly made pizzas by using handmade, thrown dough and fresh ingredients with a range of drinks.
